city with Gaudi buildings. Then we went by bus to Sort. Our students were taken into families for six
nights. The teachers were staying in a hotel.
On Tuesday (15th March 2016), we were taken to Sort school, where we were welcomed by the school
principal and we had a short tour around the school and surroundings. After lunch we presented ourselves (culture,
education and customs).
On Wednesday (16th
March ), we went to Gerri de la Sal.
We visited the museum, slatworks and romanesc abbey. After lunch we had great
time in the adventure park.
On Thursday (17th
March ), we went to Llessui. We visited the Cheese
factory and had workshop.
On Friday (18 th
March), we had workshop at school.
After lunch there war La Mona celebration at the school playground. We could
learn Spanish dances and tasted typical products from the area. That made
everyone feel like Spanish:)
On Saturday ( 19th
March), it was a day with Spanish
families. Teachers visited National Park and had great views of mountains. In
the evening we had a farewell dinner, where
we exchanged the presents.
On Sunday (20th March),
we left Spain from Bracelona
Airport. Goodbye Spain and our new friends.
To sum up the week
in Spain was unique! It was a week of numerous impressions and valuable
experiences. We have met many new friends and we learnt both new and different
lifestyle. Our host families were really kind, the atmosphere at homes was very
positive despite the language barrier. It was a week we will remember forever.
It was a pity the week passed so quickly and we had to return.
We can't wait to
see you in Poland :)
