First meeting - Slovenia, 09.02.2015-15.02.2015
Students and teachers from Poland, Turkey, the Czech Republic and Spain
met for the first time in Smarjeta on Monday the 9th. We spent five days together.
Our impression: Our stay in
Slovenia was a great international learning experience and we will never forget
it. It was wonderful to meet our friends and their teachers. We enjoyed their
company very much and had lots of fun together. We practiced our English and
compared our daily life. The programme was nice, intense and we learned much
about Slovenia. We had a wonderful visit to Nove Mesto, Ljubljana, and Postojna
Cave. When we had to say good bye we wished that this week would never end
because we made so many nice friends. It was an amazing experience that has
broadened our mind and introduced us to a new culture and customs. The Erasmus
Team from Poland enjoyed a successful, enjoyable and inspiring visit in
Smarjeta. We have met wonderful teachers and pupils from Smarjeta. Andrej and
his staff made us very welcome. We were introduced to a different school,
school system and teaching methods. Pupils learned about everyday life,
different habits and cultural varieties. The great experience was not all about
travelling abroad and using a foreign language but because of the fact that we
are creating a project including meeting new pupils, teachers, learning
cultural differences, getting to know each other and making friendships. We are
looking forward to our new project meeting in May.
